(p)Assaggio in cantina

With (p)Assaggio in Cantina (Cellar ride), an initiative developed in collaboration with the Tuscan branch of the Wine Tourism Movement, we aim to encourage the use of buses as a means of transport to reach wineries. We provide information on accessible routes, schedules, and services for wine tourists seeking tasting experiences and to immerse themselves in the world of Tuscan-made wine.

When you use our services, you will receive a complimentary welcome glass upon arrival at the winery. Please remember to bring your valid bus pass receipt or ticket stamped on the day of travel.

The initiative celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Cantine Aperte event (1993-2023), which will take place on 27 and 28 May.
"Thanks to our new partnership with MTV Toscana," explains Caterina Piccardi, Marketing Coordinator for Autolinee Toscane, "reaching winemaking destinations will become more accessible for everyone.  For the first time, we’ve involved 36 Tuscan wineries, who, along with us, will promote the bus as the ideal solution. AT and MTV have collaborated on the (p)Assaggio in Cantina (Cellar ride) project, which, among other initiatives, has led to the creation of a map showing all the wineries in our region that can be reached by bus. This map will be available on all the digital platforms of both partners. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a long-term journey to promote the use of a sustainable, cost-effective mode of transport that improves air quality for everyone: the bus."
